New chair for Peter

ONE-TIME Perth Academy head boy Peter Donnelly is leaving his post as Scotland’s deputy chief medical officer to take up a new chair at the University of St Andrews, where he will lead research in support of violence reduction strategies.

Professor Donnelly (45) will become Professor in Public Health Medicine at the Bute Medical School in September.
