Student take-over

TWO Perthshire students played an important role at Dundee College’s awards.

Camilla Plekker, from Crieff, and Blairgowrie girl, Claire Cameron, are both on the HND acting and performance programme and, along with classmate Jonathan Panchaud, introduced all 400 students who graduated at the Caird Hall.

“Over the years we have had to accommodate more and more students who, despite in some cases having moved on to full-time employment or university courses, are keen to have their college achievement formally recognised,” explained master of ceremonies, Alan Rae.

“In a bid to keep the ceremony running time at a sensible length we planned a more stream-lined yet student-centred event.”

Students Camilla and Claire were taking over a role that was previously held by the team leaders.
