PERTH youngsters have been learning more about World War Two, as part of a special joint project between Moncreiffe Primary and The Black Watch Museum Education Service.
Fraser Brown, a museum educational development officer with The Black Watch, visited the school with Major Ronnie Proctor MBE to talk about a soldier’s life during WWII.
Mr Brown – with support from the Perthshire Advertiser – has produced a database of historic photographs from the local area taken during WWII.
The children are working with teachers, Mrs Lindsay and Mrs Sullivan, to produce a memories book of imaginative writing using the database.
