A FUN community event is to be held at St John’s Academy (Secondary) on Wednesday, as part of the build-up to the opening of the new North Inch Community Campus.
The ‘Campus Connections’ event will bring the local community together ahead of the planned opening of the new Campus in March 2010.
There will be stalls offering information on what community facilities will be available the North Inch Community Campus. These include a new public library, conference suite, fitness suite, and all-weather pitches.
There will also be stall giving information on various other Council services, and Tayside Contracts will be carrying out taster sessions to promote the new school menu.
Active Schools will be hosting a range of games and sporting activities, and there will be a variety of other stalls and attractions.
A professional photographer will be there on the evening taking free pictures of people, groups and families to promote a community photography project which everyone is being encourage to get involved in. The competition will eventually result in an exhibition of photographs of the local community at the new North Inch Community Campus. Everyone who has their picture taken one the night will be able to take away one free print.
