A £50 million appeal to keep a Titian masterpiece in Britain has been launched.
Diana and Actaeon, by the Renaissance artist, is part of the Bridgewater Collection, one of the most important private collections of Old Master paintings on loan to an institution in the UK.
The works, which include four Titians, three by Raphael, a Rembrandt and eight Poussins have been on view in Scotland since 1945.
