Fourth of student nurses 'drop out'

Currently 26% of nursing students north of the border drop out before completing their training.

But the survey, carried out this autumn at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), found 42% had thought about leaving before finishing their studies, with many citing financial pressures as the reason.
