More than 100 complaints against MSPs were made by unhappy constituents over a four-year period, a report said.
But only one went to a full investigation and a ruling the MSP failed to provide "conscientious representation". In the current parliamentary session there have been no complaints about MSP service. The disclosure was in a report by Holyrood's Standards Committee, recommending changes to the code of conduct for MSPs.
The 108 complaints were made between 2003 and 2007, a period when complaints about MSPs' service to their constituents were considered by the Standards Commissioner.
