Hundreds of jobs face the axe at Scotland's largest council in a bid to make huge savings.
Glasgow City Council plans to cut up to 400 posts in an effort to save around £23 million. Jobs are set to go across the council, from departments including social work and education, land and environmental services and the chief executive's department.
A spokesman stressed no job losses would be lost through compulsory redundancies. Council officials have been meeting with unions and plans will go before the full council in February, when the budget is set.
