Water firm staff to strike over pay

Hundreds of workers with Scottish Water are due to begin a 24-hour walk-out in a dispute over pay.

The action will go ahead from noon according to unions, who say the strike will affect Scottish Water operations across the country.

Workers are protesting at a pay increase which they claim is unfair.
