Christmas card painting up for sale

A painting which features on a popular Christmas card is going under the hammer, auctioneers said.

Scottish artist Joseph Farquharson's painting Sheep Beneath Snow Encumbered Branches is being auctioned next week.

The piece, which depicts sheep grazing in a snow field under a setting sun, has been valued at £70,000.
