Don't shop - swap, campaigners urge

Campaigners encouraged people to swap instead of shop at a special event.

Friends of the Earth Scotland set up a stall in Edinburgh, where members of the public could exchange items such as DVDs, CDs, records, books and videos.

And the group argued that as well as being good for the environment, the stall could also help people people struggling in the wake of the credit crunch.
