MP wants more drug tests on troops
An MP has called for the Army to carry out more drug tests after it was reported 101 soldiers from Scottish battalions were dismissed last year for taking drugs.
BBC Scotland`s Politics Show claimed 610 soldiers were dismissed for taking drugs in 2007 - including 101 from Scottish battalions.
David Hamilton, a member of the House of Commons Defence Committee, told the programme: "To understand the problem we`ve got to get the facts, to get the facts you`ve got to do the figures.
