Golfer fined for speeding

Glaswgian golfer Colin Montgomerie has been fined £835 for speeding in south-west London.

Montgomerie was travelling at 70mph in a 40mph speed limit zone in his Bentley in Kingston upon Thames in March.

The 45-year-old escaped a driving ban but was fined £750 plus £85 costs at Feltham Magistrates' Court.
