First Minister Alex Salmond has been cleared of misleading Parliament in a row over the funding of a religious body.
A report by former Presiding Officers George Reid and Lord Steel hits out at the role of the Scottish Inter Faith Council (SIFC) in a Holyrood bust up between Mr Salmond and Lib Dem leader Tavish Scott.
The report concluded: "The First Minister did not mislead Parliament during First Minister's Questions on January 8 2009 and therefore did not breach section 1 (c) of the ministerial code."
