Flight diverted amid fear for girl

A plane carrying British holidaymakers was diverted after a four-year-old girl fell seriously ill mid- flight, it emerged.

Vegas MacBeth, from Johnstone, Renfrewshire, is thought to have contracted E.coli during a family break in Egypt.

She was travelling back to Glasgow with her parents Alex and Karin on Sunday when her condition worsened and the flight was diverted to Athens, Greece.
