A pub-going horse has been barred from its local after the new landlady renovated the Tyneside boozer.
Peggy, the 12 year-old horse had been a loyal customer, often accompanying her owner, Peter Dolan to O'Malleys pub in Jarrow.
Favoring a pint of bitter and a packet of pickled onion over hay, the four-legged regular was shown the door after the owner gave the pub a makeover.
