Cougars get boost from Round Table

Kinross Cougars

KINROSS-SHIRE Round Table recently gave their local youth rugby team a huge boost with a donation of £1,170.

Andy Williams, a senior coach with the Kinross Cougars, said: "This gives a great lift to the kids. Kinross Cougars run a number of age squads and are now expanding to U-14, U-16 and U-18 teams. This donation will help us provide quality strips for the new teams which will help raise team spirit."

David Dumbreck, chairman of Kinross-shire Round Table, said: "We are delighted to support Kinross Cougars youth rugby team. The coaches do a fantastic job of getting the kids involved in team sport. This is very much in line with the ethos of Round Table, which is about having fun and putting something back into the community."
