Tennis - Perth and Kinross tennis sessions planned to find new tennis stars

THE Perth and Kinross Tennis Development Group is on the look-out for talented children to be invited to join one of several winter training squads.

The first of the county sessions takes place tonight in Crieff.

A senior coach will be scouting at these events, where participants will take part in simple drills and tennis related fun games.

As a guide, children wishing to hould be at least able to conduct a rally with a playing partner.

There is no need to book a place but kids should arrive at least 15 minutes before playing time.

The times and venues are as follows: Crieff Hydro Hotel tonight (children of nine-years-old and under from 5pm; and older children after 6pm)

At Kinross Club courts tomorrow morning (Saturday, 10am and 11am) and Scone Tennis Courts on Friday, August 29 (5 pm and 6 pm)
