Sports clubs based in the north of Perth are being invited to come together to discuss the future of sports.
The newly-formed North Perth Community Sports Partnership wants to hear from clubs about sports development in the community.
The Club Forum for the Partnership, organised by Perth and Kinross Council’s Sports Development team, is intended to help clubs come together and share ideas as well as working jointly to raise the profile of local sporting organisations. It is proposed to hold an event to show the range of clubs in Perth and provide taster sessions for the public.
There will also be the opportunity for club volunteers to talk with the Sports Development and Active Schools teams and also representatives from Perth and Kinross Sports Council and Live Active Leisure, to assist with planning their own club’s development.
Two dates for the meeting have been proposed: Tuesday, November 20, Wednesday 21, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the North Inch Community Campus. Clubs are asked to get in touch with their date preference by emailing pkcsport@pkc.gov.uk - the date with the majority of votes will be chosen.
