Cycling: Olympic hero Chris Hoy visits Perth

CYCLING hero Chris Hoy sped by Perthshire to show off the three gold medals he won at the Olympic Games in China.

Scotland’s greatest-ever Olympian attended a corporate day at Gleneagles Hotel organised by his management company 110sport, where he met up with former world snooker champion Stephen Hendry and a host of golf stars.

While the rest of the group enjoyed a round of golf on the venue’s famous old course, Hoy left his Beijing medals in safe keeping and saddled up for a bicycle tour of scenic Strathearn.
