Hockey: Ladies get back indoors to settle league campaign

THIS Sunday, the Perthshire Hockey Club’s Ladies indoor side restart their National League Division Three campaign with two matches at Bell's Coaching Hall.

The opponents are the same as their last set of matches before the Christmas break, with the first match against Quasar starting at 10am and the second against Haddington at 12.40pm.

There are no other fixtures at the weekend, but the Men's 2nd and 3rd outdoor team players should note that due to all the recent cancelled matches the league has been rescheduled to start a week tomorrow (Saturday, January 17) and thereafter every weekend to April 5.

The ladies section continues training in Bell's Sports Centre every Tuesday from 7.30–9pm..

The men carry on their indoor training in the Auchterarder School games hall, each Wednesday from 7.30–9.30pm.

Youth hockey restarts this coming week in the Perth Academy games hall as follows: Mondays 5–6pm for P6/P7 age group; Tuesdays 5–6pm, P4/P5 age group; Wednesdays 5–6pm, P6/P7 age group and 6–7pm for S1–S4. S4 and youngsters playing senior hockey, are encouraged to go to senior training as detailed above.
