BLAIRGOWRIE wrestler Dave Low is hoping to put his money where his mouth is when he takes on ‘The Million Dollar Man.’
Dave (28), who competes under the moniker ‘Bravehart’ in tribute to former WWF star Bret Hart, is set to mix with trans-Atlantic stars during the Hell For Lycra VI event on August 21 at Perth Concert Hall.
The bill includes Ted ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Dibase, as well as some more of the sport’s more contemporary names, such as Joe E Legend and Rory McCallister.
But the father-of-four, who co-founded the Scottish Wrestling Entertainment stable based on Blairgowrie’s Welton Road, insists he’s far from intimidated by the prospect of mixing with some of the popular pastime’s stellar names.
He said: “The recognition we’ve had since this was announced has been great.
“It’s amazing! We’ve come so far in such a short space of time and to attract the likes of Ted Dibase is a great achievement.
“This is the only time people in the UK will get to see someone who, if they’re into wrestling, may well be one of their heroes.’’
