New attraction for Blair Horse Trials

TICKETS have gone on sale for the 2010 Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair, which runs from August 26-29.

Visitors can enjoy yet another new attraction at this year’s show – a stallion parade.

During the dressage lunch breaks in the main arena on the Thursday and Friday, stallion owners from all over the UK will have the opportunity to showcase their horses.

Potential breeders can view and compare the animals live while also studying their performance records and stud cards which will be available within the programme and from the information office.

Sports horses and specialist sports pony stallions will parade on the Thursday while native breeds including riding ponies and hunter ponies under the NPS banner will parade on Friday.

The popular NPS Scotland Finals on Friday will be co-ordinated to allow entered stallions to attend the parade without missing classes.

Details for stallion parade and discounted membership packages and tickets are available from www.blairhorsetrials.co.uk
