Strathearn Mountain Bike Club’s junior members finish off successful season

STRATHEARN Mountain Bike Club's junior riders have wrapped up a busy season.

The all terrain bikers took part in the SXC Scottish Bike series from March to September, where Charlie Aldridge came second overall in the P4-5 boys and Iona Aldridge won the P1-3 girls. Gillian and Craig Dobbins competed at P6-7 and finished sixth.

Andrew Lamb geared up to the senior course and was never out of the top three in his category all year, finishing the season strongly, missing first place by a whisker in the Scottish Champions race at Drumlanrig.

The club is looking for new junior members for the winter skills programme at Comrie Croft on Sunday mornings.
