Annandale Trophy

RESULTS: West End 44 (4pts), Caledonian 38 (4). Details – J Slaven 19, D Wright 5; J Sanger 10, J Duncan 17; C Fawcett 12, B Steele 13.

This competition has now been finalised and the position of the clubs is – Caledonian 28pts, Kinnoull 27, Scone 26, West End 16, Scone Recreation 12, Perth 11.

Congratulations to Caley – it is understood that this is the first occasion on their winning this trophy.

Moncreiffe

THE Moncreiffe Bowling Club are holding their 50th anniversary celebrations tomorrow (Saturday), at 2pm. The event is being celebrated by an invitation only friendly match to other clubs who have played Moncreiffe over the past 50 years. The celebrations will be opened by Mrs Nan Meiklejohn, a founder member of the club.
