PERTH kickboxer Ryan ‘The Style’ Lyall is preparing for all-out war in the ring in his bid to take the World Kickboxing Federation’s British Full Contact title tonight (Friday).
The Fair City fighter – pictured – is facing tough journeyman Stuart Harker, of Middlesbrough, a former British amateur kickboxing champion, and semi-professional boxer.
They will face each other on the undercard of the main event at the World Kickboxing Federation World Championship, being held at Northumbria University’s Student Union, in Newcastle
Ryan said: “This is an important fight and I’ve put in a lot of hard work preparing for it.
“I’m determined that to win the title, not only for myself, my gym but also for Scotland as well.
“Stu is a tough fighter but if I didn’t know that I can win I would not have taken the fight. I believe I can beat him and bring the title to Scotland.”
The event will see 30 individual bouts between amateur and professional kickboxers, including K-1, semi-professional boxers and MMA fighters from across the UK .
