Fund-raising night for teams travelling out to Barcelona

PERTH Youth Futsal are holding their presentations, as well as a fund-raising race night for the U14 and U16 teams who are travelling out to Barcelona, this weekend.

The presentation night, in The 208 Hotel, Crieff Road, on Saturday, will feature players who won the following:

Letham Tangerines (Stevie Greive's team) who were joint winners of the 9-12 league; PYF Samba Kingz: the Scottish Futsal League First Division title winners (won nine and drew one of their 10 games); PYF U16 Select: won the North East of England (Tees Valley) U16 tournament in January; PYF Select: won the adult version of the above tournament in March.

On Friday evening, they have a training session at Bell’s Sports Centre from 7-8pm for the two teams who are travelling out to Barcelona.

As well as the training session, they will also be holding a fund-raising event.

This will comprise of a powershot competition, where players shots are measured by a radar gun to establish the one with the fastest shot.
