BOTH Letham and their pitch-sharing counterparts Letham United have contrasting Scottish Cup ties this week.

United are at home to the long travelling Hallkirk, from Wick, while the Tangerines travel north to play Newmachar United.

Both games are winnable for the Seven Acres outfits and away ties await them both in the fourth round.

Two all-Perthshire ties go ahead this week in the North of Tay Cup, second round, although the first involves Perth- based team Fair City who are currently plying their trade in the Kingdom League.

Both City and Auchterarder have strong squads and like to get the ball down and play good passing football, which bodes well for a cracker.

Fixtures for November 15. Kick-offs 1.30pm (North of Tay and Scottish, League kick-offs 2pm). Scottish Cup, third round replays: Letham Utd v Halkirk (P Lynch), Newmachar Utd v Letham.

North of Tay Cup second round: Auchterarder Primrose v Fair City (S Ross), Burrelton Rovers v Star of Atholl (P Montgomery).

North of Tay Cup third round: Ballinluig v Rattray (K Shaw), Newtyle Hearts v Invergowrie (D Muir); Douglas SC v Letham Lads (Perth); St John’s v Vale Of Earn (A Lorimer), Coupar Angus v Logie Harp (D Ragsdell).

Division One: Bridge of Earn v Roselea (K Stewart); Breadalbane v Balmoral Utd (R Thomson).

Division Two: Fairfield v Tay Thistle (P Aiken); Almondvale v Alyth (TBC); Bridgeton Utd v Vale of Atholl (G Thomson); Stanley/Dunkeld v Wolfhill (K Barclay).

Division Three: Perth Royale v Perth Villarreal (G Crawford); Gateway v Meigle Vics (M Sharpe); Methven v Comrie Rovers (G Graham); Kenmore v Errol FC (I Coburn).

Free Day: Kettins; no game: Kinrossie/Cale CSSA and Strathearn Grove.

LETHAM United (sponsored by the Ormond Bar) – Tomorrow they are at home to Halkirk AFC in a third round replay of the Scottish Cup. Players meet at Seven Acres at 12.15pm. Any call-offs contact Jock asap.
