ONLY five ties survived the weekend downpour with three results still pending.

Letham, with an already growing fixture backlog will be kicking themselves for not advancing in the Scottish cup at the first attempt as McColl put them in front.

Donaldson with a smart lob over the keeper put them two up against the run of play before Kelvin pulled one back.

Bullions with a good solo goal restored the two goal lead again before it was reduced before the break. It was an even second half with both teams missing chances and when Kelvin made it three apiece with 15 minutes to go which on the balance of play was a fair result. Rannoch switched their tie against letham United to an all weather pitch and a 4pm kick off to get the tie played and United were no match for the quick pass and move of their hosts. Stanley/Dunkeld kept the wheels turning with a dogged two goal victory over Tay Thistle after a late switch to the South Inch. Gateway were hammered by Rattray who finally hit some form but fell a goal short of the perfect 10. After getting hit for seven last time Coupar Angus played the Vale they would of been nervous going into the home tie and rightly so as they got 9 thumped past them on the day.

The Monthly meeting is today (Tuesday) in the Luncarty Juniors Social Club.
