THREE clubs put themselves forward for another try at securing a quarter- final placing in the North of Tay Cup.
Newtyle Hearts start underdogs on their travels to Portcullis but gaffer Bill Stott will admit this is how they like to approach their ties.
Breadalbane host Vale of Earn in the game of the day.
Both have the potential and the squad to go all the way and this should go to the wire.
After only achieving 45 minutes of their tie last time round St John’s will travel to Stanley in the Perthshire Cup, looking to finish the job that they were on their way to completing before.
In the second round, Fairfield should almost be back to full strength for the visit of Balmoral United who will be strengthened by a couple of signings.
On league business back to form Roselea will start slight favourites over the out of synch Auchterarder while Coupar Angus will look to a solid home three points over Ballinluig to pull away from the drop zone.
Letham will contest only their fourth league game of the season at home to the Brig and know that points are a must as a long hard seasons finish is awaiting the seven acres troops.
In Division Two, Bridgeton will be hoping to close the gap on the leaders with a home win over Tay Thistle as league favourites Burrelton travel north with their 100 per cent record to face the hot and cold Vale Of Atholl.
Bottom clubs Letham United and Star of Atholl must have that sinking feeling as games are running out to keep them from the drop and unless they can acquire wins away to Wolfhill and home to Alyth respectively, their fate could be sealed.
Safe from relegation and too far from the promotion picture, both Kinrossie and Almondvale will contest for mid table mediocrity.
Comrie Rovers have fallen away in recent weeks while Rattray have showed some form and on that basis a further dent to Comrie's promotion quest could be on the cards.
The game of the day in division three sees Letham Lads host Meigle Vics, two ball down, passing teams going head to head should be one for the watchers.
Errol will try again for that first elusive mark in the win column at home to Methven while Strathearn Grove travel to the big smoke on another raid for points versus Gateway.
Finally, Kettins are tipped to take the third division crown this season and three very valuable points on their travels to Kenmore will go a long, long way.
