ABBOTSFORD fought a home tie match with Mondo who were on a hiding to nothing but shocked their hosts after 15 minutes to sneak the lead.
But it was short-lived for, by half-time, with Scrymgeour holding court with a lot of possession of the ball, the Abby were on easy street. They hitdouble figures and ran out comfortable 11-2 winners.
The Auld Hoose beat the form book and nabbed Donskies’ league spot by the odd goal in five.
Both the Rabbie Burns and Half a Tanner could not be separated, as expected, after 90 minutes in a tepid affair sharing six goals in the draw.
The Christies’ squad were found playing hookie on their visit to Almondbank as the Badgers easedtheir way to a six-goal victory.
In the final game, it was a potential banana skin for the Saints Club as Dunbarney came to play after a late switch to the South Inch. The ageing Saints started well and continued with a 4-0 scoring streak.
