Auchterarder Six-a-Side League

AUCHTERARDER’S Prostar Community Six-a-side League saw Earnvale Thistle and Saints United kick off the much- anticipated season and it turned out to be a cracking opening match as both sides gave their all in search of two points. It was Thistle who emerged winners, snatching a 2–1 success thanks to a late goal.

Glenburn Giants took on Udineasy and were full value for their 3–1 victory as they huffed and puffed until Udineasy eventually gave in and succumbed to the pressure.

Where is Sophie turned on the style as they led Unathletic Madrid a merry dance, coasting to a 5–1 victory to get their season off to a flyer while Langtoun Locomotiv saw off rivals Langtoun Forres Mechanics by the same scoreline, notching some impressive goals during a solid display which sets them up well for the inaugural campaign.

Prostar Leagues organiser Paul Spacey commented, “It was fantastic to finally get the league underway after a delay last week due to the weather.”
