Where Is Sophie stays unbeaten

AUCHTERARDER’S Prostar Community Six-a-Side League saw Unathletic Madrid run out 2-0 winners against Earnvale Thistle in the opening match of the night.

Meanwhile, Sophie took on Glenburn Giants in the second game of the evening and it was the former who emerged narrow 2-1 winners after a fierce but sporting encounter.

Langtoun Forres Mechanics picked up their second win in three matches with a narrow 3-2 success against bottom of the table Udineasy who will perhaps feel aggrieved at having missed out on a point.

Langtoun Locomotiv remain second in the table after a convincing 4-2 win against Saints United in the final match of the night. Saints are without a point so far this season but on this evidence their first win is just around the corner if they keep plugging away.

League Secretary Paul Spacey commented: “After three weeks of the season the table is taking a bit of shape with only leaders Where is Sophie still unbeaten. It looks like the title race will be closely fought.”

There is one space available for a new team to join the league. Any new teams interested should get in touch with Prostar Leagues on 0870 3300888 or register online at www.eurosixes.com.
