Perthshire Amateurs look to the weekend Mar 27

A REDUCED card is in effect with almost 50 per cent of Perthshire descending on Amsterdam to cheer on the national team, the others left firstly sees a St Johns team trying to avoid a third defeat on the bounce and a shock at home to Letham Utd in the Perthshire cup.

Division battles cover the remaining three ties as Alyth host title rivals Burrelton and Wolfhill will start favourites at home to Star.

Two clubs chasing the division one crown in the shape of Letham and Bridge of Earn fight it out at Seven Acres.

On league duty Vale Of Earn travel to Auchterarder in need of a win to get back in the title race as do Roselea who will find it tough at Ballinluig after they dropped to the bottom of the table last week.

Stanley/Dunked host Bridgeton Utd in division two knowing if their hosts can gain a win at their expense they can lose top spot if Bridgeton win their games in hand, Almondvale are looking to do the double over Tay Thistle and get some form back after last weeks defeat.

Both Fairfield and Kinrossie/Cale are aware that maximum points are a must to avoid getting sucked into a relegation dogfight.

Comrie are in top scoring form and that should continue as Gateway come to visit. Methven are right back in the five team title race and a home win over division leaders Villareal will continue their good run.

Kettins will be looking to capitalise on the top club slipping up, but they will have it hard at home to young guns Kenmore.

Newtyle Hearts are the divisions most consistent scorers and there up against the leakiest defence in Errol while a home win for Rattray will catapult them above their visitors Strathearn.
