IN the first round of midweek games, it was Breadalbane who climbed off the bottom at the expense of opponents Ballinluig.

Auchterarder were too strong for a St Johns team. Letham continue to seek out the wins, this time a gem from Currie was enough to see off Balmoral while the three nil score line for Roselea does not do the Vale justice in this close encounter.

In the derby, it was Vale of Atholl who turned the tables on Star with the help from a Thain hat trick.

Alyth remain top after their slender win at Tay Thistle with Stanley hot on their heals with a six-goal demolition of Kinrossie.

In a late switch both Letham United and Fairfield shared the points.
