THE games continue thick and fast and none come bigger domestically than the Smith League cup.
On Quarter final duty, Alyth travel north to do what many few have done this season in beating Breadalbane at home. St Johns host local rivals Fairfield, who will remember a shock consolation cup win over their hosts a few season ago.
The two main title contenders for the division one crown make up the final tie as Letham start favourites over the Brig.
In the West district, Auchterarder will be eyeing a final spot at the expense of the Strath while the Vale have already defeated Stanley at home in the cup this season and will start strong favourites over their hosts.
On League duty, Division One’s bottom two Ballinluig and Balmoral go head to head. Burrelton face off against Star. Bridgeton and Kinrossie will vie for mid table honours while Letham Utd need away points against Vale.
In division three, leaders Kettins host Methven. Comrie could go second if they do the double over Kenmore while Errol take on Gateway. Letham Lads walloped Royale by eight goals at the start of the season, but this encounter should be a lot tighter. Rattray will look to stretch away from their visitors Meigle. The next meeting is Monday, April 20, in Luncarty Juniors Social Club.
