Tartan Army get set to battle in cup final

THIS Sunday at Station Park Forfar (k.o.1pm), Perthshire Tartan Army have a chance to avenge their 2007 Tennents Tartan Army cup final defeat as they once again take on Bonnybrig Tartan Army.

Memories are still fresh of their 3-0 defeat two years ago and this time round, Perthshire TA are determined to pick up the cup for the first time.

The final will also be a tribute to fellow Tartan Army footsoldier, Kevin Murray (42) who was found dead in Amsterdam on the morning of the Holland match last month.

Turnstyles will be open to the public with donations going to Kevin’s partner, who has two young children and is due to give birth to their third child in eight weeks.

Win or lose, everyone will be back to the Plough Inn after the match for post match ‘pound a pint’ refreshments courtesy of sponsors Tennents.

There will also be a raffle after the match.

All donations and supporters are very welcome.
