McLeish a star speaker for club

ALEX McLeish will be a national hero if he steers Scotland to the European Championships this weekend.

And the St Johnstone FC Business Club have signed-up the national coach for their next event, which is a hospitality day at McDiarmid Park for the game against Morton on December 8.

Last year’s event against Livingston was a huge success and it is anticipated that with McLeish on board there will be an equally big demand for tickets, with space limited.

McLeish has agreed to be the club’s guest and participate in a short question and answer session after lunch.

A Business Club spokesman said: “We are absolutely delighted that Alex has agreed to attend and hopefully it will be on the back of a successful outcome in the Italy match.”

The cost for the day is £45. Dress code for the day will be casual.
