Who to put on the spot?

AFTER enduring three missed spot-kicks, Derek McInnes could be tempted to turn to Steven Milne.

Penalties have come thick and fast this season, but Paul Sheerin has missed two and Liam Craig failed against Clyde. McInnes stressed: “Paul had such a good record I wouldn’t have a problem if he wanted another go. We’ll wait and see, but Savo could be an option.”

Peter MacDonald will fancy his chances but missed at Clyde.

McInnes revealed that MacDonald is being nursed along for the semi-final with hernia surgery on the cards for the summer.

“We are managing Peaso through to the end of the season. He has possible hernia problems. He has been great for us and when he came on in midweek his link-up play and presence helped us,” said McInnes.

Striker Andy Jackson comes back into contention for tomorrow’s game after being sidelined by a twisted ankle.
