SAINTS were yesterday handed a trip to Livingston in the draw for the second round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup.

The Perth outfit will face Roberto Landi’s men in an all-First Division clash at Almondvale on either Tuesday, August 26 or Wednesday, August 27, after the sides were paired together during the draw in Edinburgh.

Saints will be hoping for a repeat of the scoreline when the clubs met just 10 days ago in the season’s opening league fixture at McDiarmid Park.

On that occasion, Derek McInnes’ side ran out 2-0 winners with goals from Peter MacDonald and Paul Sheerin.
