ST Johnstone’s hard-fought victory over Dundee last weekend provided a much-needed boost for a side that was in danger of losing touch with the leading pack.

They will be keen to maintain their momentum when Airdrie arrive at McDiarmid Park tomorrow.

The Diamonds suffered an unexpected 2-0 reverse at Ross County, a result which partly accounts for their status as 7/2 underdogs with Betdirect, although in recent meetings with Saints the newly-promoted side have more than held their own.
