TABLE-TOPPING Saints are enjoying their longest unbeaten run for nearly 20 years.
Under Derek McInnes the Perth side have gone 13 games without loss.
That’s the best since Alex Totten steered the team to 14 games without tasting defeat in season 1989/90, when McDiarmid Park opened.
The omens are good for the class of 2008/09, with Totten’s troops going on to capture the title.
Paul Sturrock's championship winning team of 1996/97 managed to put together a run of 16 league matches without defeat.
During that sequence Alan Main kept a record eight clean sheets.
In 1986/87, Saints statistician Brian Doyle recalls 16 games undefeated in 1986/87, when Ian Gibson was boss in the Second Division.
The league run target is 19 posted under Bobby Brown in the 1962/63 promotion season.
