Saints move further ahead at top of league

SAINTS moved eight points clear at the top of the first division after a hard fought game with Clyde.

It was 30 minutes before the home side managed to hit a goal home, when Steven Milne got on the end of a Derek Holmes knock down and hit it past keeper David Hutton.

In the second half, Saints keeper Alan Main managed to get a hand on a Clyde attempt at an equaliser.

And with 10 minutes to go, Clyde's Gary McSwegan was sent off for raising his hands to Liam Craig.
