ST Johnstone’s progress this season has been built on a solid defence and their ability to eke out draws, while snatching occasional 1-0 victories.
In their last 10 league fixtures, they've registered seven draws and three 1-0 wins. It’s looking like championship form and Sportingbet have lodged 4/9 on them to win the First Division title.
They travel to Queen of the South as Jenningsbet's 6/5 favourites tomorrow to face a side they've already drawn with twice this term. However, it's a fixture which tends to favour the home side: in 17 league meetings going back to 2004, there have been four draws and ten home successes. The other outcomes? Three 1-0 wins for St Johnstone…
This will be no pushover for the Saints as Victor Chandler's 2/1 price posted against a home win suggests. Queen of the South have scored more home goals (22) than any side in the division, although Betdaq's 8/11 for the match to yield fewer than three goals has received plenty of support.
