ST JOHNSTONE widened the gap at the top of Division One, but had to settle for a draw on Saturday.
The Perth side welcomed Ross County to McDiarmid Park, but the game remained goal-less, with only a few flurries of excitement.
It was Ross County who had the first chance, but Steven Craig's shot couldn't find the back of the net.
Saints could have gone 1-0 up, but a Collin Samuel cross into the box was headered by Derek Holmes straight to the keeper.
And in the final part of the game, Saints tried to step up, but couldn't get past the Ross County defence.
