St Johnstone stay at top after draw with Partick

ST JOHNSTONE only managed to get one point from their clash with Partick Thistle on Saturday.

It was an important game for Saints, who were keen to extend their gap between second place side Partick.

The first half was fairly even and non-eventful and it took the home side 65 minutes to hit the back of the net, when Steven Milne ran onto a Derek Holmes pass six yards out.

But Partick bided their time and with three minutes to go, Gary Harkins got the equaliser.

Tomorrow night, St Johnstone take on Dunfermline at McDiarmid Park, kick off at 7.45pm.
