AN injury time strike by Queen of the South's Stewart Kean denied St Johnstone a point that would have widen the gap at the top of the league.
It was the visitors who dealt the first blow in the clash yesterday, getting their first goal in the 11th minute thanks to ex-Saints player Stephen Dobbie.
It was Dobbie who doubled Queens' lead in the 55th minute, and it looked like St Johnstone were done.
But Derek Holmes kickstarted confidence with a goal from a free header in the box. Chris Millar's deflected shot brought the Perth side back level with QOTS.
It looked like the game was going to finish 2-2 when Kean's strike hit the back of the net, stealing all three points for the seventh-place side.
