A TICKET u-turn had St Johnstone fans lining-up at McDiarmid Park yesterday.
After coming under pressure from a vocal minority of fans, Dundee announced Saturday’s derby would be all-ticket.
The change of mind, which will prove costly to a club on its uppers, was prompted when Dundee fans took issue with vacating the enclosure area for the derby.
Now, Saints supporters will be housed in the Bob Shankly stand and part of the main stand.
They have been allocated 4200 tickets, which should more than meet demand, given that around 3000 home fans took in Sunday’s defeat from Queen of the South.
Season ticket holders can get two tickets using voucher 27. They are on sale today and tomorrow from 9.30am to 7.30pm.
The general sale is on Thursday from 9.30am to 7.30pm. Again the maximum allocation is two per head. On Friday the McDiarmid ticket office opens from 9.30am to 5pm.
Tickets are £17 for adults and £10 for seniors and U16s.
