Saints fans get chance to fly the flag at Hampden in competition

YOUNG St Johnstone fans are being given the chance to fly the flag for the Perth side ahead of the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final.

PA Sport has teamed-up with sponsors Co-operative Insurance to offer one Saintee the chance to be an official Co-operative Insurance Cup flagbearer.

The lucky winner will lead Derek McInnes’ men out at the National Stadium before their match against SPL champions Rangers on February 3.

They will also receive an official Co-operative Insurance Cup flagbearer kit and a match ticket for themselves and a parent or guardian.

Youngsters must be aged between eight and 12 years of age and have parental consent.

The winner will be named in next Friday’s PA, and will be contacted by the sponsors shortly afterwards to make further arrangements.

This season is the eleventh consecutive season of Co-operative Insurance’s sponsorship of the Scottish League Cup.
