SAINTS fans will be outnumbered 20 to one at tomorrow’s Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final with Rangers at Hampden Park.
Tickets will be on sale to Perth fans planning to join the 1200-strong force making for Glasgow. They are on sale today and until 5pm tomorrow at McDiarmid Park. The attendance is expected to be around 25,000.
Saints are expecting a surge of late sales after a string of positive results posted by the team.
And manager Derek McInnes is urging the blue and white brigade to crank-up the volume at the National Stadium.
He said: “We had 900 fans at Tannadice last week and they really made it like a cup tie. They will definitely generate an atmosphere at Hampden when they congregate together.
“We need them to make this an occasion for us. I can assure them the players will be doing everything they can to take them to a cup final.
“Our away support is brilliant and the East Stand fans were fantastic on Saturday against Hearts. We need everyone behind us at Hampden.”
THE match kicks-off at 7.35pm and fans are reminded to leave plenty of time to travel, with major roadworks on the route to Glasgow.
